School Facilities

The school has excellent facilites for teaching; our courses are held in the School's state-of-the-art Veritas building, and in the nearby Graphic Arts Centre and Crafts Workshop.

There is scope to enjoy the school's 100 acres of grounds, and the school is surrounded by delightful, rolling countryside. It is just a short walk from Kingham, ‘England’s favourite village’, while Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold - traditional Cotswold market towns - are four and five miles away respectively.

Leisure facilities like the swimming pool and fitness suite, tennis courts, etc. are available during your stay (subject to a small charge). We have arranged for the pool and fitness suite to be available each day (opening times may vary).

A cash bar is also open in the evenings (at sixth-form bar prices!) between 6pm and 10:30pm, depending on demand.

Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted in any building. See the school's website for more details about the school. Instructions on how to get there are here.

Dogs (other than assistance/guide dogs) are not permitted on the school grounds. However, recognised Assistance dogs which meet the accepted standards can be accommodated.

See and for precise guidance, but as a general rule recognised assistance dogs:

  • Are highly trained
  • Will not wander freely around the premises
  • Will sit or lie quietly on the floor next to their owner
  • Are unlikely to foul in a public place
  • Are instantly recognisable by a harness or jacket
  • Are with an owner properly trained to use the dog

If you are bringing an assistance dog onto the School grounds, you must inform staff ahead of time and make them aware of any information they need about the assistance dog and the training organisation which provides it, to enable them properly to assist you and your dog.
